I know nothing, but I did see yesterday that the SoCon presidents delayed announcing a decision. Probably just waiting for the NCAA to can the FCS playoffs next Tuesday, then it becomes a moot point and then they don't have to be the bad guys.

There may not be ONE single person on here who will click on this link, BUT I enjoy occasionally watching this, as it(or The Citadel) is probably the height of our 2019 season.

I clicked the link just so someone would do it. Didn’t watch past the ankle biters running on the field, but I did clink the link.

They have started referring to the weekend of the Samford/Wofford game as Suicide Weekend in South Carolina.

Ticket sales for football started today. Stadium capacity will be limited to 20%. According to the official website, Seibert Stadium seating capacity is 6,700. So there's only 1,340 seats available per game. There are five home games and season tickets are $125/seat. Using my higher math skills, if they completely sold out the stadium as season tickets, with no discounts, the total gate for the season would be $167,500.

Brian McLaughlin
@brianmacwriter
FCS STUFF: Strong source tells me apparently 4 SoCon schools feel more strongly than others about playing in the fall.
Chattanooga, The Citadel, Mercer, VMI
Several of the others may ultimately choose to opt out, especially with big payout ACC/SEC games gone now

I think some or all will honor the contracts.
