Play 3 Thursday night home games. The community will attend those games.

Thursday nights could provide a much better alternative. I would propose a 6pm kick so families could get children home at a decent time for school the next day. Professors would complain about students cutting class and athletics interfering with academics. I can see the recycled articles now in The Samford Crimson.
The biggest complaint would come from the Admissions Office. They can't do Preview Days on Thursday afternoons into the evenings. I would imagine the football coaches would also complain because recruits probably can't get away from their high school practices or their own HS Thursday night games.
So where does this get us? Kinda sounds like 2pm on Saturday afternoons would be a preference.

Thursday games suck. College football is for Saturday.

Why have we apparently moved all of our Saturday home games to noon??? Kills the crowd, kills the good work that's been done to enhance the quad experience. A poor decision. My guess is that it is for the benefit of the traveling team so that they arrive at home at a decent hour.

ALSO...
Auburn's website says the kickoff is at 6:00. The Samford website says kickoff is at 6:30. I hope we show up on time.

That's a bad omen for the first quarter.
Remember when Pete Hurt and his team pulled up in buses 5 minutes before kickoff at Troy back in whenever Pete Hurt's tenure was? The ploy failed to psych them out and they handed us our @$$ for the next four quarters.

They don't care about us and our traveling schedule. What happened to the seven deadly words of the Baptist church: "We've never done it that way before!"?
