It has been a successful season. Come what may, I’m happy with the direction of the program. Winning the conference tourney is just icing on the cake for me. Winning the NIT would be a big deal too. Let’s just enjoy the ride. Agree BUT. I want to see these kids cut down that net at the end of the SoCon tournament. They've been earning it all year and now they have to earn it again at the tournament. LFG!

For me it's NCAA tourny or bust. I know it's not for you all. I have wanted to watch Nate in the NCAA tournament since he was a kid. NIT is great but I just want to see him in the big dance.

Spoken like a true loving uncle. I hear you, unc!
For me, as an abused fan, I have to temper my expectations. I have been through so much—I just can’t take the disappointment anymore. I’ve had to adopt a stoical approach. I have no desire/expectaion, therefore I am content (and never experience disappointment). It is really a defensive mechanism more than a way of life. The others at the shelter have adopted it with me.

Could it just be closer than Spokane? At least a location with Thursday/Saturday games? We have tried for over 30 years to instill in our family not to plan significant events during football and basketball season. For some reason, our granddaughter's baptism is scheduled for 24 March. If we're flying to the west coast for a Friday game, I'm certainly not making reservations to come back before the 25th.

We are going to finish with somewhere between 25 and 30 wins this season. Chalk me up for the NCAA or bust. I am sure I would come around to playing in the NIT, but it's a reluctantly accepted consolation prize.
