I think this loss is ok. We were missing our top three guys. They needed rest anyway. Hopefully this pisses everyone off and our big three have fresh legs for the tournament. Bucky ball is solid but these guys have tired legs. Hopefully forces rest is the key.

For sure winning the conference tourney is our only pathway to the NCAAs. This hurts our seed though if we were to make it.
Do you think it matters if we are a 12 or a 13 or a 14? I think we need to make the final four for the 1st time in school history first before discussing such things. And by final four, I mean final four of SoCon tourney.

Well, it's probably a good thing the team had Celebration Saturday already. After this performance tonight, it would really hard to convince students and the community to come out in big numbers for Senior Day.
Maybe the basketball gods were getting revenge for the Athletics Department claiming there were over 4500 in attendance last Saturday. For that number to be anywhere near the truth, it must have been based on some phantom booster buying 500-1000 tickets, even though no one used them. One of the University offices posted on its Facebook page a picture that verifies no one was sitting in the upper north bleachers. That's 1000 empty seats alone. Some may call it karma.

You’re correct I would say there were about 2500-3000 in attendance at best. It was still a nice crowd but not near capacity.
