Also, doesn't sound like JPP's mom likes her son's team anymore: Just because she’s an idiotic dolt, doesn’t mean she’s wrong about Hein.

I think we need to prepare ourselves for what may be coming for us. Over 800 kids have already entered the portal and we aren't even through the first weekend of the tournament. Kids are going to leave our program. Let's just hope that it doesn't hurt too badly. On the flip side, after the season we had and the pub that went along with it, Bucky should be in a position to score well in the portal.

My guesses:
1. AJ 2. Dallas 3. Allenspack 4. Holloway 5. Achor 6. Walls
Everyone is going to a better school, make mo money (love that money!), get more playing time, play big time basketball, and live a happier and healthier life.
Contentment lost. It is the meaning of life, and everyone would rather chase it than experience it.

There are about 5,200 Division I basketball players and even though we haven't even made it through the first weekend of the NIT and NCAA tournaments, over 850 have already portalized. That accounts for 15% of all Division I players who are in the portal. That number will significantly increase as we move through the portal season.
It's probably best to assume you cannot build a program from one year to the next with a roster that matures to any meaningful degree with each passing season. Every year is a reboot. Sure, there may be a few guys that stay for various reasons, but this isn't like the old days. You can't just project that next year's success will be built upon this year's success just because you have a roster that is mostly full of guys who have eligibility and a history of winning at this school to their credit. It's time to look at each season completely independently with the previous season having much less to do with future success than it did back before the NCAA rolled out this mess in 2018. Certainly our recruiting should improve on the back of a 29 win, NCAA appearance season, but let's just go ahead and assume that if the kids he brings in this year have more than one year of eligibility remaining, they very well may not be back for year two at SU. The portal has allowed them to chase the money and/or chase playing time and that is exactly what they are doing with tremendous ease.
