Greatest athletes of all time in their respective sports: Basketball - Joey Chitwood. He could beat you so many different ways, completely impossible to guard. Ran "The Swinging Gate" play like it was invented for him. Baseball - Roy Hobbs. What other BB player has ever knocked the cover off the baseball? He could pitch, he could hit, he could field - he was just a "Natural". Football - Bobby Boucher Jr. From humble beginnings this guy from the swamps of Louisiana started out as an Aqua Engineer but propelled himself to become the greatest LB of all time. He was named MVP of the prestigeous Bourbon Bowl. It’s JIMMY Chitwood of the Hickory Huskers.

I know that’s his given name, but his friends call him Joey. 🤣

Oops! Seen that movie 2 dozen times I guess, but now that I have made the correction, will I still be eligible for the Post of The Year Award?

BTW, the actor who played Jimmy Chitwood was actually a Purdue student who was on their Golf Team, so maybe this discussion is somehow distantly related to the thread topic.

Oops! Seen that movie 2 dozen times I guess, but now that I have made the correction, will I still be eligible for the Post of The Year Award? Fret not, SUDog. The error is mine. I referred to the lad as Joey and led thee astray. I often get Jimmy Chitwood confused with that fun loving marsupial from down under, the baby kangaroo “Joey”.
