I watched all four games yesterday (some with less interest than others). Overall, I thought the crowds looked nice. Much better than what I have seen at other conference tournaments. I assume the crowds will grow today and then again tomorrow regardless of what teams play. What difference it makes whether Furman or Samford make it, the other half of the bracket will make up for it.
Aside from officiating (I note the same complaints across all conferences and all teams—it can’t be us, the fans, can it? 🤔😉🤣), it seems to be a well run show.

Hijack thread warning!
After Auburn won in NashVegas and Purdue got beat in OT by Wisconsin, I flipped channels to watch UAB vs USF. It's the AAC Championship semifinal game in the Dickies Arena in FT Worth, TX. There's a very sparse crowd. Maybe 500 folks, ministerially speaking it could be 2,000. Listed basketball capacity is 13,300 so there's a lot of empty grey seats when the TV cameras pan the crowd.

Someone on a Temple fan site said that the attendance for the Temple-Charlotte AAC quarterfinal game was 37.

Playing the AAC in Ft Worth is long trip for 3/4 of the league. Memphis is the best site for that tourney followed by Birmingham.

This is the price some of these "mid major" leagues pay when they want to disregard geography and expand from Boca Raton to Philadelphia to San Antonio.
