Well, Bigstone, where is the action on Samford/NDSU? Don’t know. No on line betting in my state. Unless Samford is physically out matched the Bulldogs should be able to make a game of it The Georgia game should be a concern. Samford may not be a very good D1 football team. We find out Friday night. look here. Saw it on bisonville. madduxsports.com/college-football-lines.php

I’m not flying 8 to 12 hours commercially to the equivalent of some remote little town in Siberian Russia.

I’m not flying 8 to 12 hours commercially to the equivalent of some remote little town in Siberian Russia. Wise choice. Not safe anyway “A North Dakota school board (Fargo) has nixed reciting the Pledge of Allegiance before each meeting — deciding it didn’t align with the district’s values.” lots of anger and violence “Fargo school board reinstates Pledge of Allegiance following angry backlash” NDSU is a dump. You will definitely need winter gear if you are from someplace back east or the south. You are most likely ignorant of how to dress and will be angry and resentful as a result. Food sucks. Everybody’s stupid and drunk. tailgate will be in heated tents, hundreds of them, and lots of RVs. You will most likely not be welcomed if you carry resentment. Then you will be out in the cold looking in, Awkward at best. Yes it’s best if you stay home. If you do charter land at the West Fargo municipal airport. You will save on landing fees. Of course Hector field is right across the street from The Fabulous Fargo Dome so you could easily walk without risk to your health if you are dressed properly. No Uber last time I was there.

Uh . . . you paint an enticing picture of Potersville (teacher says every time a bell ring an angel gets his wings).
Tailgating in an enclosed heated tent sounds tempting, as does your description of crime and drunkness. I’ve tailgated at LSU a bunch before, but I wore shorts and the food was good. What you’re describing sounds like a POW concentration camp.

S/NDSU by 16.5. Spread is still too close. Needs to start with a 2 in front of it.

In this game, we MUST regain the hard edge we showed on defense earlier in the season. We are getting pushed around a bit on that side of the ball the last two weeks. Our pass rush has been non-existent all year but we’re giving up too many yards on the ground. The last two teams have been quality opponents but we must be better. The margin for error gets smaller this week.
Their home field advantage will be huge. It will be loud and QC and our O must navigate it well. It will require maturity and composure beyond their years. Our quick receivers should give them problems and the noise can be neutralized by our quick tempo. The Midwest mocks “southern speed” but they’ll get their dose on Friday night.
IMO this game comes down to our defense. We CANNOT let them withstand 10+ play scoring drives even if our offense is matching them point for point. It’s a recipe for disaster in the fourth quarter! We have the personnel to stymie their offense if our hunger for greatness remains! If the same team that got off the bus Nov. 12th in Chattanooga shows up in Fargo, then God help the Bison soul.

According to Wikipedia, crowd noise often averages between 102–106 decibels.
