In the history of bracket predictions , has any bracket predictor gotten is close? I don’t know why they feel the need to create these things or why people pay them any attention.

On3 has 13 Samford vs 4 Bama in Pittsburgh - as Cujo mentioned, who knows how accurate.

I don’t want to play an in state team. That’s boring

Agree completely about playing instate teams in the Dance.

The Wofford loss really hurt us when it comes to seeding. I think we would have been in very serious contention for a 12 had we not laid an egg in Spartanburg (or perhaps hung on to that lead against VCU). A twelve is still a possibility, but we would need quite a bit of help. While unlikely, McNeese losing in the Southland tournament would be a good start.
We will obviously play a big program. What I don't want to see us is playing a blue blood. It going to be tough enough, but it will be even tougher when you have to play five other guys and that school name on the front of that jersey.

Lunardi has us as a 13 playing Kansas in Salt Lake City. That would not be good.

Luckily our AD is on the committee. So I am guessing he keeps us away from playing a game against an in state team. My guess after talking to him is a 13 seed and a shot at a 12 seed

Unfortunately for us, he has to exit the room when any discussions of Samford are occurring. He has no input on where we end up or who we play.
