Guy was our 2nd best rebounder in league games and our best wing defender. It's a loss now. Not many freshman are gonna come into a decent league and score a bunch of points.

You can slice it statistically however you want I suppose.  He was also second on the team in turnovers and a 28% shooter from three as a starting wing. I am not suggesting he did not bring value, but I have to think that if he was playing up to his or Bucky's expectation (unless he is no longer with the team because of off the court issues) he would still be a Bulldog. Part of being a four star recruit is having four start expectation.  He brought value, but I think most SU folks would say that he underperformed relative to his potential.
